What a first night of LSTGMC28 we shared last night! In the background of these posts each day will be moments from the previous night here this year. Fast forward to Day 2 today, and there is oh so much to do. Your standard tasks are still here (Bible Study, Coffee & Donuts, Movie in the Family Center), but that is where the similarities end today.

Starting off in the Youth Center at Noon to 1:30 will be MyHarborRadio’s The Troy and David Show live. Their guests will be Michael Booth, Danny Funderburk, and some other special guests. This will be a mixture of interviews and performances. So bring your lunch and enjoy the show.

Then, at 6:30 pm in the Tabernacle is our new special event, the Old Fashioned Camp Sing. We will be joined by a tremendous group of performers to lead us in an evening of all of your favorite hymns. We have never tried anything like this before at this scale, and I can’t tell you just how much work went into this evening’s festivities. All that work will be worth it tonight.

We will end the evening with something more normal to all of you, the ice cream social. After such a big day today you might forget that it is only Friday. Remember we will only be halfway through LSTGMC28 by the end of today.
